Welcome officially to the fall season. As you travel around the region the turn of foliage is absolutely stunning. Apple & pumpkin picking is in full swing out east and if you have the chance please head out to our local farms as they could really use your support.

Welcome to September! My personal favorite month of the year. Granted it’s my born on month so there is some favoritism however it’s also a time for new beginnings as we close out those lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer.
The sapphire month signals a time to get back to school, work and the business of life as we know it for most of the year.

The heat truly is on and hopefully, everyone is keeping cool with the beach, pool, and all the other modern-day cooling conveniences.
As I’ve written for over the past 20 plus years, it’s hard to beat the summers on Long Island. Well, maybe on Maui..but let’s be realistic…Long Island summers are wonderful, we pay for it however living here is a blessing spring thru fall.

Greetings Once Again,
Summer is here and things are heating up in Holbrook. The chamber is excited to announce that we will once again be able to host the Annual Holbrook Carnival after missing our first in twenty years last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The dates are August 26th thru the 29th. We will have a full complement of rides, games and food as well as our spectacular fireworks show on Saturday evening.
